Rules and Regulations

SUBMISSIONS
  • The show will be on May 19th, 2011 at the SCAD Student Center from 7-10 pm
  • Only two submissions may be submitted to the show
  • Each submission may have up to 4 Munnys of any size within the submission
  • Submissions may only be KIDROBOT Munnys or Dunnys of any size or dimension. This includes mini Munnys and Giant Munnys.
  • The submission must be at least 25% Munny. This means if you use clay to make something it must incorporate 25% of the original Munny design.
  • There are no size limits or add on limits to the submission
  • No resubmissions from last years competition are allowed. Submissions from other shows may be acceptable.
  • Submissions must be submitted to Clinton Crumpler by May 15th, 2011
    • Submission Times are as follows:
      • Monday May 9th 2011 Barnard Office 1pm-5pm
      • Friday May 13th Cafe SCAD 5:30pm- 7pm
      • Saturday May 14th JO's Cafe 5:30pm- 7pm
      • Sunday May 15th Barnard 2206 8pm-12pm

  • Submission form must be filled out and submitted with your Munny as well as a name tag for your Munny with the Munny's name. This will be displayed with the Munny at the show. The submission form is located on sidebar of the blog title "Submission Form 2011".
  • A entry fee of $3 will be needed for each submission. Meaning if you have two submissions it will cost $6. All proceeds will be for donations for a sponsored charity.
  • All submissions must be brought a box big enough that can be closed, hold the Munny as well as all the contents displayed and  name card for the Munny. This is so nothing gets lost in the process and I can easily transport your Munny without having it harmed in any way.


CATEGORIES
  • The categories for this year are as follows: Best Use of Color, Best Character, Best Practical use, Best in show and Best Design
  • Best use of Color (EX. Color Palette choices, Unusual color blending)
  • Best Character (EX. Alien Queen, James Bond, or an original character)
  • Best Practical Use ( EX. Flower pot, Clock, Speakers)
  • Best in Show (EX. Best out of all Munnys)
  • Best Design (EX. Design aesthetics, compositional balance or visually appealing)
  • Each category has a first, second and third winner

PRIZES
  • Gift certificates as well as various other prizes will be given out to the winners of each category.
  • Gift certificates range from $10-$50. They will be for local restaurants and store locations in Savannah, GA.
DONATIONS AND PROCEEDS
  • All donations and proceeds will be donated to The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. For more information on this organization and their cause visit http://www.aspca.org/.

Update on show time and Location

The Show will now be held on May 19th 2011 in the Savannah College of Art and Design Student Center from 7pm-10pm.
